Callala Beach is a small village on the northern side of Jervis Bay with a total permanent population of around 700. Located a short drive or stroll across the walk bridge to Callala Bay and a 10 minute drive to Culburra Beach. This swells to around three times as many when the many holiday cottages are occupied during peak season.

Callala in South Coast - New South Wales is a sheltered reef break. Winter is the best time of year for surfing here. Works best in offshore winds from the northwest and there is no shelter here from cross shore breezes.
